MCC Engineer
Job Description
The MCC Engineer is responsible for coordinating Maintenance Control Center (MCC) activities and reporting to the MCC Manager. Primary duties include coordinating with the Operations Control Center (OCC), contracted service providers, maintenance, operations, and administration departments on aircraft scheduling and routing. The role ensures efficient scheduling of maintenance activities to support operational readiness. The MCC Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining aircraft airworthiness and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. Work is conducted at Kigali International Airport, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance workflows and minimize aircraft downtime.
Requirements
Hold, or have held, an aircraft engineer license in category B1 and/or B2; OR have an engineering degree or diploma in aeronautical, avionics, mechanical, electrical, or electronics disciplines; Experience in aircraft maintenance and scheduling is highly desirable; Strong coordination and communication skills to interface with multiple departments and external service providers; Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards; Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
