Financial Services Trader
Job Description
Our client, a licensed financial services and investment firm, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Services Trader to manage securities transactions, support investment operations, build strong client relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will identify investment opportunities, execute trades, provide exceptional client service, and contribute to business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Source clients and execute the buying and selling of securities on behalf of clients or the company. - Monitor market activities, identify investment opportunities, and analyze financial data. - Process transactions accurately, maintain trading records, and prepare transaction reports. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, support onboarding, and manage investment accounts. - Advise clients on financial products, market trends, and investment opportunities while resolving transaction-related inquiries. - Track the performance of securities, stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments. - Prepare market reports, investment summaries, and portfolio updates. - Stay informed on economic trends, market developments, and regulatory changes. - Ensure compliance with Capital Markets Authority (CMA) regulations, company policies, and confidentiality requirements. - Support audit and compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment, Business Administration, or a related field. - Professional qualifications such as CFA, CIFA, or ACCA are highly preferred. - Master of Science (MSc) in Finance is an added advantage. - Minimum of 3 years' experience in securities trading, financial services, investment advisory, or a related field. - Experience in a securities company, investment firm, or financial institution is preferred. Key Competencies: - High integrity and professionalism. - Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products. - Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial trading systems.
