• Operate and monitor mill equipment in accordance with approved operating procedures. • Monitor process conditions and report abnormalities affecting production, quality or equipment performance. • Prepare, load and process materials in accordance with established procedures and production requirements. • Complete assigned production activities and maintain accurate production records and shift handovers. , • Comply with product specifications, quality standards and operating procedures. • Identify and report quality defects, process deviations and non-conformances. • Maintain accurate production and quality records to support traceability requirements. , • Conduct routine equipment checks and report abnormalities requiring attention. • Support maintenance activities during planned maintenance and breakdown interventions. • Maintain housekeeping standards within the work area in line with 6S requirements. , • Government Grade Test II or Craft Certificate in a relevant Engineering discipline. , • Minimum one (1) year relevant experience in machine operations within a manufacturing environment. , • Experience in Cold Rolling Mill operations or a similar production environment will be an added advantage. , • Knowledge of 6S and Autonomous Maintenance will be an added advantage. , • Knowledge of cold rolling processes and mill operations.
