Project Manager NGO Job

The Project Manager will oversee the development and construction of assigned construction projects, including new meetinghouses, CES seminaries and small institutes, and small welfare projects, as well as large R&I projects. The role involves managing service providers such as architects, consultants, and contractors to achieve performance standards, analyzing project information to meet cost, quality, and timeliness objectives, and providing expertise to support operations and maintenance functions. The incumbent will work closely with ecclesiastical leaders, real estate representatives, architects, engineers, contractors, city officials, governmental agencies, neighborhood associations, and zoning review boards to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with policies. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the professional development of peers by sharing expertise and receiving training to improve competence.

BS or SA degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture (or local equivalent education); at least three to five years of related construction field experience (e.g., construction management) or a minimum of 3 years of strong building construction background (owner of firm, project manager, or superintendent); proven leadership, business, management, and negotiation skills; basic estimating, scheduling, and analysis work skills; good public relations skills; demonstrated ability to manage people and multiple projects; ability to communicate and deal with sensitivity and respect with ecclesiastical leaders and effectively with diverse stakeholders.
