SALES AND MARKETINGRole Description The Sales staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. The Sales staff will identify and approach potential clients, follow up on leads to convert prospects into long-term customers. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, conducting product and service presentations, preparing and sharing proposals, and meeting set sales targets. The role also involves gathering market feedback, contributing to sales planning, collaborating with the marketing team on promotional activities, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions. The Sales staff will work closely with management to support business development initiatives and ensure a positive customer experience.Qualifications Strong sales, customer relationship management, and negotiation skillsKnowledge of business planning, business development, and basic advertising conceptsEffective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently, meet targets, and manage time efficientlyBasic proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools and familiarity with using online communication platformsPrevious experience in sales, client service, or business development is an added advantageCertificate, diploma, or degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field is preferredFluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Kampala is an asset <
