• Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, partners, the communities we serve, and the public. • Engage and participate in prayer before and after team meetings. • Lead and participate in biblically based staff devotions. • Design, plan, and implement community development WASH service models in accordance with Water Mission procedures, standards, and values. • Analyse and provide insights, thoughts, and analysis of all aspects of Water Mission safe water solution implementation models. • Develop, assess, and manage projects and project plans according to Water Mission’s standards. • Ensure that regular monitoring and evaluation assessments are conducted for project activities and to ensure the program quality, with reports being made to the relevant stakeholders. • Ensure the timely reporting of activities for internal and external reports as requested by HQ, donors, and the country program leadership. • Prepare and/or review funds requests, requisitions, and verification to ensure accuracy and appropriateness, that information provided is consistent with project goals and organizational values and represents good value for money. • Coordinate with other departments to achieve overall program and project goals, including Technical, Finance, Supply Chain, MEL, Carbon, and others as required. • Provide supervision and management of any regional offices established. • Assess existing water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion activities in the assigned area(s) and recommend actions to be taken. • Assess operational effectiveness and efficiency of community development initiatives, and propose adjustments that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national government offices. • Analyse and resolve safe water operational issues including but not limited to the following: Community leadership issues (including Safe Water Committees) Financial tracking/performance to support meeting goals. System operational issues that may affect performance/sustainability.
