• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of Boilermakers, Fitters, Lubricators, Contractors, and associated equipment in accordance with plant policies, safety standards, and maintenance procedures. • Manage shift rosters, annual leave, sick leave, and other workforce scheduling requirements to ensure adequate shift coverage and operational continuity. • Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety meetings to reinforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. • Review, prioritize, and execute weekly maintenance schedules, ensuring critical and high-priority maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively. • Ensure the development, implementation, and regular updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance tasks within the function. • Operate in full compliance with established maintenance procedures and directives issued by the Maintenance Coordinator. • Evaluate maintenance performance, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency. • Promote safe work practices and always ensure adherence to statutory and company safety regulations. • Full Grade 12 School Certificate. • Minimum of Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or a related discipline. • Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience in crushers and conveyor structural maintenance within a mining or heavy industrial environment. • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience working with SAP or a similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive performance, and contribute positively to continuous improvement initiatives within a results-driven environment. • Valid Zambian Driver’s License. • Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
