• Assist with the planning and execution of commercial cropping programmes. • Support onion production, harvesting, storage and marketing activities. • Oversee field operations including planting, irrigation, fertiliser application and crop protection. • Monitor crop performance and recommend improvements to maximise yields. • Supervise and motivate farm employees. • Assist with machinery planning and operational logistics. • Ensure accurate production records are maintained. • Support health, safety and environmental compliance. • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve production targets. • Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Production, Horticulture or a related discipline. • Practical commercial farming experience. • Experience in horticultural production, particularly onions, will be a distinct advantage. • Good understanding of commercial farming systems within Africa. • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. • Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
