Payroll Accountant
Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. This role involves preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budget preparation and variance analysis. The Accountant will work closely with the finance team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to financial planning and decision-making processes. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical for this position.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and VAT regulations; strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
