Senior Technical Sales Executive

The Senior Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing customers, converters, distributors, and prospective clients. The role focuses on promoting the company’s products and solutions, expanding the customer network, increasing market share, and delivering high levels of technical and commercial support to customers. Key responsibilities include conducting market and customer-needs analysis to identify growth opportunities, developing innovative sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets, and generating and following up on sales leads. The role requires maintaining a detailed opportunity pipeline, managing relationships with existing and prospective clients, and preparing customer value propositions. Additionally, the executive will participate in Sales and Operations Planning meetings, manage commercial negotiations, provide on-site technical support, and investigate customer complaints. Accurate record-keeping in Salesforce and other company systems is essential, along with supporting credit control, customer service, marketing initiatives, and regional digital programmes.

Relevant educational background in packaging, printing, or a related field; strong knowledge and understanding of packaging and labeling applications; ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues; knowledge of the local market and customer base (added advantage); excellent communication skills; strong attention to detail; sound numerical ability; high computer literacy; ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
