Partnerships Officer (Governance)

The Partnerships Officer (Governance) will support the effective functioning of YuWaah, UNICEF's multi-stakeholder partnership platform in India, as it enters its next phase of growth. The role involves coordinating governance mechanisms such as the Board and Leaders Council, managing partner engagement and reporting processes, and convening ecosystem stakeholders. The incumbent will engage with government institutions, UN agencies, and development partners to advance collective action for youth development. Responsibilities include supporting high-level convenings, developing partnership materials, facilitating collaboration across sectors, and contributing to advocacy and knowledge management efforts focused on youth employability, entrepreneurship, and inclusion. The position requires cross-functional coordination and strategic thinking to strengthen the visibility and impact of YuWaah’s partnership ecosystem.

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Social Science, Development Studies, Communications, Business Administration, Political Science, International relations, public policy or any other related fields; At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Partnerships, Communication, Stakeholder engagement, external relations, programme coordination, government engagement or any other related fields; Coordination Skills; Cross-Functional Initiatives; Presentation Skills; Government Engagement; Report Writing Skills; Proficiency/Fluent in English and Hindi; Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset; Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts; Familiarity with UNICEF's Core Values of Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Sustainability (CRITAS); Competencies required: Builds and maintains partnerships; Demonstrates self-awareness and ethical awareness; Drive to achieve results for impact; Innovates and embraces change; Manages ambiguity and complexity; Thinks and acts strategically; Works collaboratively with others.
