Agriculture Officer
Job Description
The Agriculture Officer will be responsible for overseeing agricultural programs, providing technical advice to farmers, and ensuring the implementation of sustainable farming practices. Key responsibilities include monitoring crop production, advising on agronomic techniques, coordinating with local agricultural extension services, and reporting on program outcomes. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field; minimum 3 years of experience in agricultural extension services or farming systems; strong knowledge of crop production and pest management; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in data collection and analysis; ability to work in rural and remote areas; familiarity with Rwandan agricultural policies and practices.
