Branch Manager (Mbarara Branch)

KCB Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of its Mbarara Branch in Uganda. The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving branch performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations. Key responsibilities include managing a team of banking professionals, developing and implementing branch strategies to meet sales and service targets, overseeing daily branch operations, and fostering relationships with local business communities. The role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the Ugandan banking sector. The Branch Manager will report directly to the Regional Manager and will play a pivotal role in expanding KCB Bank’s presence in the Mbarara region.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional banking qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) will be an added advantage; Minimum of 7 years of progressive banking experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role; Proven track record in branch management, sales growth, and customer relationship management; Strong understanding of Ugandan banking regulations and financial services; Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite; Fluency in English and Swahili; Willingness to relocate to Mbarara if not already based there.
