• Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and obtaining necessary approvals. • Request and collect quotations from approved suppliers and prepare comparative bid analyses. • Support the evaluation of suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service performance. • Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and services. • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and filing systems. • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinate with the stores or logistics unit for replenishment. • Ensure that procurement processes comply with internal controls, financial regulations, and procurement guidelines. • Support in the preparation of procurement reports and documentation for audits and management review. • Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal departments to resolve procurement-related queries. • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor or Procurement Officer. • Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate or its equivalent. • Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) level IV or Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) IV. • Valid Membership of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS). • Good Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP System. • One (01) year post qualifying relevant experience in procurement.
