Trainer - Automotive Engineering
Job Description
This role involves training students in automotive engineering principles, practices, and technologies. The trainer will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical lessons, developing curriculum materials, and assessing student performance. Key responsibilities include conducting hands-on training sessions in automotive workshops, mentoring students, and ensuring adherence to TVETA (Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority) standards. The trainer will also collaborate with industry partners to align training programs with current automotive industry demands and trends. Additionally, the role may involve administrative duties such as record-keeping, student progress tracking, and reporting to the Principal/BOG Secretary.
Requirements
Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in the relevant field (Automotive Engineering or related discipline); Must possess pedagogical training/teaching skills; Must have a valid TVETA (Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority) registration number; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Good communication and collaboration skills; Highly organized and hard-working.
