Executive Director / Vice President / Director (Accounting & Finance, Auditing, Management, MBA, Economics)

The Interest-Free Service Division Head will lead the development, implementation, and management of interest-free financial and non-financial services within Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C. This role involves overseeing the design of Sharia-compliant financial products tailored for Medium, Small Enterprises (MSMEs), and low-income individuals, particularly women, in both urban and rural areas of Ethiopia. The position requires strategic planning to expand the institution's reach while ensuring compliance with Islamic finance principles and Ethiopian regulatory frameworks. The Division Head will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, risk management, and field operations, to ensure seamless delivery and impact. Additionally, the role includes monitoring performance metrics, reporting to senior management, and fostering partnerships with local communities and stakeholders to drive financial inclusion.

BA Degree or Above in Accounting & Finance, Auditing, Management, MBA, Economics & Related field; 5-8 years of relevant work experience; mandatory skills in Communication; COC (Certificate of Competency) is mandatory; experience in microfinance or financial services preferred.
