Job Description
This internship role is designed to provide hands-on experience in financial operations, accounting, and audit functions within a leading African banking group. The successful candidate will support financial reporting, budget preparation, and analysis under the guidance of experienced finance professionals. Key responsibilities include assisting in month-end closing processes, preparing financial statements, and participating in strategic financial planning sessions. The intern will gain exposure to regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks, and financial systems used across the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand the financial backbone of a pan-African institution while developing technical and analytical skills in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; pursuing or completed a BA/BSc/HND qualification; strong numerical and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with financial software or ERP systems is an advantage; excellent communication and teamwork abilities; attention to detail and commitment to professional development.
