Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. Key responsibilities include managing month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. The role involves supervising junior accounting staff, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely submission of statutory returns. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent); minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role; strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations; proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar); excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; experience in financial reporting and audit coordination.
