Country Sales Head – Uganda Role Purpose The Country Sales Head will lead and grow the company’s IT distribution business in Uganda, with responsibility for sales, channel development, business operations, profitability, key customer relationships, and market expansion. The role will drive revenue growth, strengthen partner networks, optimize distribution operations, and build a high-performing local team in alignment with regional business objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the country business strategy to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.Identify new business opportunities, market segments, growth channels, and expand the distribution footprint across Uganda.Lead sales operations and ensure achievement of annual and quarterly targets.Develop and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, key accounts, government entities, and industry partners.Expand and improve the productivity of the channel partner network.Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability.Own the country P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, margins, costs, and working capital.Oversee distribution operations, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and product availability in collaboration with supply chain teams.Drive operational efficiencies and best practices to improve service levels and customer satisfaction.Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements to support business decisions.Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales and operations team.Act as the primary company representative in Uganda, managing key relationships and escalations. Ideal Profile Strong experience in IT Distribution / ICT / Technology / Networking / Enterprise Solutions.Proven track record of country-level sales leadership, channel development, and P&L management.Strong understanding of the Uganda/GCC/Africa IT distribution ecosystem and established relationships with channel partners and key accounts. <
