Guidance and Counselor (FOR GRADE 1 – 8)

Oversee and manage the importation process of medical equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals for Lancet General Hospital. Coordinate with suppliers, customs officials, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of critical healthcare resources. Develop and implement import strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce operational costs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for medical imports in Ethiopia. Supervise a team of import coordinators and liaise with hospital departments to align supply chain activities with clinical needs. Monitor market trends in medical equipment and negotiate favorable terms with vendors.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in import management, preferably in the healthcare sector; Strong knowledge of Ethiopian customs regulations and import procedures; Proficiency in ERP systems and import tracking software; Excellent negotiation and communication skills; Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Fluent in English and Amharic.
