The role requires a deep understanding of humanitarian principles, child rights, and emergency preparedness, as well as the ability to work under pressure in high-risk environments. The specialist will be responsible for assessing needs, developing response plans, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and effective delivery of services. Additionally, the role may involve field deployments to emergency-affected areas, where the specialist will provide technical guidance, support capacity-building initiatives, and advocate for child-centered approaches in emergency response.
