• Ensuring only authorized persons are permitted onto Hospital premises, and other CURE properties situated outside the Hospital • Monitoring the temporary out pass for equipment/stores by issuing a fixed validity leading to automatic check and enquiry about reasons for non-return of the item • Providing a visible deterrent to crime and prohibiting activities by patrolling buildings and hospital ground • Using the gate pass system to check and control the entry/exit of stores and equipment, maintaining/updating hospital security systems as required on a regular basis • Making sure that the premises are locked and secure during non-working hours • Preventing losses and damages by reporting any irregularities • Completing reports by recording any occurrences • Ensuring proper security checks of vehicles and Individuals. • Providing rapid response of security Aides calling for support/ backup • Checking budges and credentials to ensure a visitor, patient or doctors are where they are supposed to be • Support the Hospital in Infection and Prevention process • Protecting people, property, information and reputation within BCCH
