Application Support & Implementation Intern

Provide first-line application support and troubleshoot user issues to ensure seamless operation of software systems. Assist in software implementation, configuration, and deployment, working closely with technical teams to ensure smooth transitions. Support the development and maintenance of applications using the Yii PHP Framework, including debugging, optimization, and feature enhancements. Assist in developing and maintaining BIRT Reports to generate accurate and insightful business reports. Write and optimize SQL queries to support database management activities, ensuring data integrity and performance. Participate in software testing, debugging, documentation, and application maintenance to ensure high-quality deliverables. Support application deployments and maintenance in Linux environments, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system reliability.

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least one (1) year of practical exposure in application development, implementation, or technical support through internships, industrial attachment, academic projects, freelance work, or employment. Working knowledge of Yii Framework (PHP), PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Basic understanding of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases. Exposure to developing or maintaining BIRT Reports is an added advantage. Familiarity with Git and Linux environments.
