Job Description
The Local Purchase & Documentation Officer is responsible for managing local procurement activities, supplier relationships, purchasing processes, and procurement documentation to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role involves procurement planning, contract support, documentation management, cost analysis, supplier coordination, and ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers and vendors, preparing and processing purchase requests, purchase orders, and related procurement documents, maintaining accurate procurement records and reports, supporting contract negotiation and supplier performance management, monitoring procurement schedules for timely delivery, conducting cost analysis and supporting budgeting, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures, and coordinating with internal departments regarding procurement needs. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field; Minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience; Knowledge of procurement procedures and supplier management; Knowledge of contract negotiation; Knowledge of procurement planning; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
