Agri Finance Specialist

Agri-Finance Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital lending products tailored to the agricultural sector. The role involves collaborating with financial institutions, fintechs, and other stakeholders to design innovative loan products that enhance financial inclusion for farmers, Agri-SMEs, and value chain players. Key responsibilities include conducting market research to identify financial needs in the agricultural sector, designing and structuring loan products that are accessible and affordable to target beneficiaries, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of these products into existing digital platforms. The role also entails monitoring the performance of these products, analyzing feedback from users, and making data-driven recommendations for improvements. Additionally, the specialist will engage with government agencies, agricultural cooperatives, and other key players to advocate for policies that support digital financial inclusion in agriculture.

Must have technical / professional qualifications; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Agricultural Economics, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural finance, digital lending, or financial inclusion; Strong understanding of agricultural value chains, SME financing, and digital financial services; Experience in product development, risk assessment, and financial modeling; Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
