Imaging Technologies/Radiographer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Imaging Technologies/Radiographer to join our medical team at Doctor's Case Medicals Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds. You will work closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate and timely imaging results, which are critical for patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The role involves maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed, and maintaining patient records in compliance with medical standards. Additionally, you will assist in educating patients about imaging procedures to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation. The position requires a strong understanding of medical imaging technology, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging Technology, or a related field; Valid practicing license from the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC); Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a clinical setting; Proficiency in operating X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines; Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures; Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Ability to maintain accurate patient records and follow medical ethics; Computer literacy with experience in medical imaging software; Fluency in English and Swahili is an added advantage.
