• Deliver competency-based technical training in accordance with approved curricula and industry standards. • Provide practical, hands-on training across the five core Integrated repair and maintenance trades. • Prepare trainees for relevant NITA Grades III, II and I competencies. • Demonstrate and supervise repair, maintenance, installation, fabrication, construction, and troubleshooting activities. • Develop trainees ability to diagnose technical faults and undertake preventive and corrective maintenance. • Integrate apprenticeship and workplace-based learning into the training programme. • Mentor trainees in professional conduct, work ethics, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving. • Promote occupational health and safety and ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and materials. • Support trainees to develop entrepreneurial and self-employment skills. • Identify opportunities for trainees to undertake real-world repair and maintenance assignments. • Assess trainee competencies through practical demonstrations, assignments, projects, and other appropriate methods. • Maintain accurate training, attendance, assessment, and trainee progress records. • Support curriculum improvement based on emerging market and industry needs. • Maintain and promote proper care, maintenance, and safe use of workshop tools and equipment. • Collaborate with other instructors management, industry partners, apprenticeships providers, and other stakeholders.
