• Identify and develop new business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, caterers, hospitality groups, schools, offices and institutions. • Identify companies that regularly purchase vegetables, food products, consumables and general supplies. • Identify and engage purchasing managers, procurement officers, chefs, F&B managers, operations managers and business owners. • Make appointments and conduct customer visits. • Present our companies, products and services professionally. • Maintain a strong understanding of basic financial management and accounting principles. • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies. • Perform customer account reconciliations, ensuring invoices, payments, credit notes and outstanding balances are accurate. • Monitor customer accounts and maintain an up-to-date accounts receivable/debtors schedule. • Follow up outstanding invoices and **expedite payments from clients in a professional but firm manner. • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment commitments. • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Commerce, Procurement or another relevant field. • Must be registered with a recognized professional body relevant to the qualification/field. • Proven experience in **business development, B2B sales, finance, accounts receivable or a related commercial role**. • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
