Loan Officer

We are hiring a Loan Officer to join our team at Simplepay Capital Financial Services Tanzania Ltd. The Loan Officer will be responsible for assessing loan applications, conducting credit analysis, and making lending decisions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include evaluating borrower creditworthiness, verifying financial information, preparing loan documentation, and ensuring timely disbursement of funds. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The Loan Officer will work closely with the collections team to monitor loan performance and address any delinquencies proactively.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; At least 1 year of experience in banking, microfinance, or loan processing; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); Basic knowledge of loan management software; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Fluency in Swahili and English (written and verbal); Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned regions (Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Pwani); No criminal record.
