Teachers

The British International College is seeking qualified and dedicated teachers to join their team at multiple locations in Somaliland and Ethiopia. The role involves teaching Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Somali to students aged 3.5 to 18 years in a vibrant and challenging British-curriculum learning environment. Teachers will be responsible for managing classrooms effectively, engaging students, and fostering a commitment to student learning and development. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with colleagues and school administration. Teachers must be willing to travel to branches as required by the school.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Somali, or a related field; minimum of 2 years of teaching experience; fluent in English (spoken and written), Arabic, and Somali; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage classrooms effectively and engage students; commitment to student learning and development; ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school administration; high level of professionalism, punctuality, and dedication; must have a laptop that connects to HDMI and be able to use it efficiently.
