Job Description

HFCB is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the integrity and reliability of our products and processes in Nairobi, Kenya. The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing QA protocols, conducting risk assessments, performing root cause analysis for defects, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues. This role includes developing test plans, executing automated and manual testing, documenting findings, and recommending process improvements. The engineer will also interface with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet specifications and work with R&D to align product development with quality standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Computer Science, or related field; minimum 3 years of experience in QA within manufacturing or engineering environments; experience with ISO 9001 standards; proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work in fast-paced environments; knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.
