Procurement Intern

This internship position is designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience in procurement operations within the agricultural sector. The role involves assisting the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential for the company's operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining supplier databases, tracking procurement activities, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials. The intern will also participate in market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and contribute to the development of procurement strategies. Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field; basic understanding of procurement principles and supply chain processes; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work in a team and independently; willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges; familiarity with procurement software is an added advantage.
