Job Description
Teach Amharic language and literature to students in a culturally immersive environment at Zoma Museum PLC. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Ethiopian national curriculum for Amharic. Conduct interactive language sessions focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. Organize cultural activities and excursions to enhance students' understanding of Amharic language and Ethiopian heritage. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Amharic language learning with museum-based educational programs. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Amharic Language and Literature or related field; minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Amharic; proficiency in both written and spoken Amharic; familiarity with Ethiopian cultural studies; strong classroom management skills; ability to develop engaging lesson plans; teaching certification or relevant professional qualification.
