Project Field Officer

The Project Field Officer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of community-based child protection and family strengthening programs in Gikongoro, Kigali, Kayonza, and Byumba. This role involves conducting field visits to monitor program activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and providing technical support to field staff. The officer will collaborate with local stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders, to identify needs and develop targeted interventions. Additionally, the role requires reporting on program progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and donors, as well as participating in capacity-building initiatives for community partners.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Psychology, or a related field; minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in child protection, social work, or community development; strong understanding of child rights and protection frameworks; experience in monitoring and evaluation; proficiency in Kinyarwanda and English (French is an asset); excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in diverse cultural settings; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently; familiarity with Rwandan child protection policies and systems.
