• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the corporate, government, education, and SME sectors • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to grow market share • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders for computer hardware and IT solutions • Stay up to date on the latest computer hardware, peripherals, and IT product trends • Advise clients on suitable technical solutions based on their business needs • Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company targets • Collaborate with the technical and procurement teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform business strategy • Represent Qrent Zambia at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management — preferably within the IT/computer hardware industry • Good technical knowledge of computers, IT hardware, and peripherals is a strong pre-requisite • Solid understanding of the Zambian IT market and procurement processes (including tenders) is an added advantage • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
