Job Description
We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our public practice team in Kenya. The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with international auditing standards. Key responsibilities include planning and executing audit procedures, supervising junior staff, preparing financial statements, and providing recommendations to improve internal controls. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients across various industries and report directly to the Audit Manager.
Requirements
ACCA or CPA qualification; minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in audit; proficiency in IFRS and ISA standards; experience with audit software (e.g., CaseWare, TeamMate); excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team; willingness to travel within Kenya as required.
