Customer Service Officer
Job Description
Responsible for managing cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling, and maintaining optimal cash levels in the branch. This role involves balancing cash drawers, processing customer deposits and withdrawals, and providing excellent customer service to clients. The Cash Officer will also assist in training junior staff on cash handling procedures and compliance with banking regulations. Regular reconciliation of cash transactions and reporting discrepancies to management is required. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the bank's operational efficiency and customer trust.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; minimum 3 years of experience in banking or financial services with at least 2 years in SME banking; strong knowledge of Kenyan banking regulations and SME financial products; excellent communication and negotiation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
