• At least three to five years’ relevant work experience in a similar role • Experience in mine water balance calculations • Experience in storm water control management • Experience in large-scale mine dewatering systems • Experience in depressurization systems • Experience in managing drilling and test pumping programs • Grade Twelve Certificate • Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology or equivalent, from a recognized University/Institution • Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) • Must be a Zambian citizen • Valid driver’s license (manual transmission) • Proficiency using GIS software • Exposure to air-percussion and diamond drilling • Experience overseeing drilling operations and contractors • Solid understanding of Geological processes and how they relate to the groundwater environment
