• Monitoring online and offline media content, including radio, television, print, and digital platforms. • Identifying and documenting cases of misinformation, disinformation, hate speech, unethical reporting, unlawful assembly and other media violations. • Tracking emerging narratives and trends within the media ecosystem. • Collecting and preserving evidence (audio, video, screenshots, photographs, and detailed notes). • Submitting documented cases to MISA Zambia for verification before publication. • Maintaining regular communication with the central coordination team. • Participating in training sessions and periodic review or feedback meetings. 5.0 DELIVERABLES The monitors will deliver; • Incident reports with clear descriptions and supporting evidence. • Weekly monitoring summaries highlighting key trends and issues. • Contributions to bi-weekly or monthly mini-reports. • Well-organized archives of documented cases and supporting materials/documents. 6.0 TIMEFRAME The monitoring exercise will be carried out from April to December, • Background in Journalism, Media Studies, Communication, Social Sciences or related field. • Demonstrated interest or experience in media monitoring and/or research. • Strong analytical and report writing skills. • High level of integrity, objectivity and attention to detail.
