Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Physical Education to undergraduate students. Duties include developing and updating course content, assessing student performance through exams and assignments, and providing mentorship to students. The role involves active participation in curriculum development, research activities, and community engagement initiatives related to physical education and sports. The lecturer will also collaborate with other faculty members to enhance interdisciplinary learning and promote a culture of academic excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or Sports Science with a minimum of Second Class Honours Upper Division; Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage; Teaching experience at a university or tertiary institution; Strong knowledge of sports pedagogy, sports management, and physical education curriculum development; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a team and independently; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sports analysis software; Commitment to continuous professional development.
