Job Description
Roke Cloud is seeking a Cloud & System Support Engineer to monitor and support private and public cloud environments. The role involves troubleshooting infrastructure and network issues, providing technical guidance to clients, and optimizing system performance and security. Key responsibilities include managing incidents, changes, and system updates, developing automation tools, and maintaining technical documentation. The engineer will work closely with clients to ensure seamless cloud operations and address any technical challenges that arise. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in cloud computing, system administration, or a similar technical role; proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible; strong troubleshooting skills for infrastructure, network, and application issues; knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash); familiarity with ITIL practices for incident and change management; excellent communication skills for client support.
