• Supervise daily earthworks activities, including: • Site clearing and grubbing. • Bulk excavation and cut-to-fill operations. • Embankment construction. • Trenching and backfilling. • Road formation and subgrade preparation. • Borrow-pit and material-winning operations. • Stockpiling and material handling. • Rock excavation where applicable. • Drainage and associated civil works. • Compaction and final trimming. • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and work instructions. • Plan daily activities and allocate labour, equipment, and resources effectively. • Ensure earthworks are carried out to the required lines, levels, grades, slopes, and tolerances. • Coordinate excavation, hauling, spreading, watering, grading, and compaction activities.
