Job Description
This role involves assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes in a clinical setting. The Registered Nurse III will provide comprehensive healthcare services including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, Prevention of Mother-To-Child Transmission (PMTCT), ante-natal care and delivery, health education, and counseling to patients, clients, and the community. The position requires referring patients appropriately, facilitating patient admissions, initiating discharge plans, maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment, and compiling relevant health data. The role may also involve working in community health programs or outreach initiatives to address identified health needs.
Requirements
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing; Kenya Registered Nursing; Kenya Registered Midwifery; Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery; or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution; Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya; Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya; Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
