Client Service Assistant

The Client Service Assistant role is accountable for the day-to-day execution of account creation, purchase, receipting, withdrawal, and reconciliation of clients’ accounts. The position ensures operational effectiveness by maintaining turnaround times (TAT) for client account creation and sits within the CIC Asset Management department. Key responsibilities include timely and accurate execution of account opening requests, verification of KYC (Know Your Customer) supporting documents, and converting/generating account openings from the web registration portal. The role involves managing emails from new business and static folders, receiving and handling customer calls, reviewing documents for death claims and lien requests, generating daily account creation reports, and ensuring banking of cheques. Additional duties include conducting due diligence on documents to update static bio data information, serving customers, reviewing KYC for new applications and death claims, advising clients accordingly, forwarding sales leads to the sales team, managing campaign-related queries, and maintaining service level agreements (SLA) and TATs for customer service.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related Studies; Minimum of 1-year relevant experience; Proficiency in customer service operations; Strong communication and organizational skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently; Knowledge of KYC procedures and compliance standards.
