With a workforce of 1,000ā2,000 employees and headquarters in Kampala, we are a well-established player in Uganda's consumer electronics and home appliance distribution sector, with expanding opera Key Responsibilities Recruitment Strategy & Planning: Develop annual and quarterly recruitment plans based on business needs; optimize processes and channel mix.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide recruitment team members, allocate workload effectively, and improve team capability and delivery efficiency.Critical Hire Delivery: Personally manage full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior level and core roles, including needs analysis, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source candidates through multiple channels including BrighterMonday, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, job fairs, and community networks.Stakeholder Management: Regularly liaise with department heads and hiring managers to define role profiles and ensure recruitment requirements are accurately met.Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain a talent pool for key positions to support business expansion.Employer Branding: Represent the company at job fairs, campus recruitment events, and online branding initiatives to enhance employer reputation.Data & Reporting: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, channel effectiveness), report regularly to the HR Head, and recommend improvements.Onboarding Coordination: Ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance through onboarding, enhancing the new hire experience.Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with Ugandan labor laws and company policies. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 3ā5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 1 year in a team management/supervisory role. Experience in a fast-paced distribution or consumer goods environment is an advantage.Strong understanding of the Ugandan job market and recruitment landscape, with a solid local talent network.Proficient in using recruitment platforms such as BrighterMonday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and social media sourcing techniques.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to engage effectively with senior management and candidates.Strong organizational and coordination skills, capable of managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS or ATS is a plus.Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Luganda) is an added advantage.
