CFO (Direct Hire for ETHIOPIA)

A leading Industrial group in Ethiopia is playing a prominent role in the industrialization of the country, during the last decade. The group is now seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the group, ensuring robust financial management, and driving strategic financial planning to support the group's growth objectives. Key responsibilities include managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting; leading treasury and risk management functions; and providing strategic financial insights to the CEO and board. The role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in financial management within industrial or manufacturing sectors, preferably in Ethiopia or similar emerging markets. The CFO will collaborate closely with other senior executives to align financial strategies with the group's operational goals and ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.

Qualified accountant with CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification; minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent senior finance role; proven track record in industrial or manufacturing sectors; strong leadership and strategic planning skills; experience in financial due diligence and capital structuring; excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; fluency in English; familiarity with Ethiopian business environment and financial regulations is a plus.
